GIVING BACK:
Relevant Discord strongly believes that one should do what they can to help those who are less fortunate and/or who may not have a voice of their own. Such matters are only more important now given the present state of the US and worldwide economies. While there are countless people and agencies across the globe who are working on the behalf of others, we would like to encourage you to also be a part of someone's solution. You don't have to travel thousands of miles or be a multi-millionaire to make an impact. There are simple things you can do even within your own community. For example: donate food to a food bank, volunteer at a Boys & Girls Club, give $5.00 to a homeless shelter. If more people would take just a moment to consider someone else's problems instead of their own, what better communities would we all have?
If you truly have no idea where to start, we've included a number of links below to reputable organizations. The links on the left are for international relief agencies. The links on the right are for organizations based out of the Southern Oregon area (our home) that provide a variety of necessary and beneficial services for those living in that region. Please, don't discount what a couple dollars and/or a little time can do.
